Some 1x2 Easter drabble:
"Relax, Heero, it's just an official Easter egg hunt, not a drop point behind enemy lines," Duo snickered as he forced Heero's hand off the gun concealed under his jacket.
Behind his mirrored sunglasses, Heero scowled. "It's still highly dangerous. Relena shouldn't indulge in these too public appearances."
"She's found four eggs so, far. That's pretty good considering the competition," Duo noticed. "These people are mercenary. Look at that one... he almost full tackled someone to get that speckled one."
"Which is why it's dangerous for her to participate," Heero argued. "There is a chance that-"
"They're all under five, Heero. How dangerous could they be?" Duo laughed outright and then started as Relena went crawling after a blue egg, on hands and knees, while three small children piled on top of her to stop her. A two year old tottered up to take the egg, foiling everyone, and she delictaely placed it into her basket with a wide grin. "On second thought..." |

Heero smiled and replied, "I was standing behind him. He was wearing one of those skin tight, white, body suits, that go under a space suit. He reached back, tugged out material on both sides of his hips, to get rid of any wrinkles, before vacuum. For a split second, I saw his perfectly rounded ass, and what was between them. He had me, then and there."
Duo snickered. "Who knew that getting rid of a wedgie would change our lives?" |

Just so I feel like I did something this morning...
A bit of Termination...
"I can't believe this!" Wu Fei snarled as he clucthed their orders in one hand. "There is some mistake!"
"No mistake," Heero replied quietly as he checked his gun. "We briefed for three hours. She has the proof. The council agreed and signed the orders."
"We can bring him in," Wu Fei argued as he faced Heero. "If it's true, we can put him in a rehab camp."
Heero's jaw worked and his face paled as he shook his head. "When Duo makes up his mind to act, there isn't any way to stop him, you know that."
"If this is about revenge, Yuy..."
"It's not," Heero replied as he holstered his gun and shut down his computer. "He hurt me, more deeply than anyone else could have, but he thought that he was telling me the truth. He thought that he was... helping me. He thought that I was... deluded." Heero struggled for more words and then settled on, "I can hate him for ruining our lives, but I don't. I just feel empty and hurt down to my soul."
"How can she ask you to do this?" Wu Fei demanded. "There are other agents..."
"You will be the one to terminate the target," Heero reminded him. "I'm just backup."
"This is Maxwell, we're talking about, Heero!" Wu Fei exploded. |

I always wonder why Duo gets drawn as long and skinny when he's short and has big shoulders in the anime? He's bigger than Heero, so I always put him in the semi role, like most of the ealry DJs, when I first started in the fandom. It was only after seeing Heero bend steel bars, and his take charge attitude, that I considered him the leader and Duo the follower.
*Looks at watch* Must get ready for servitude... er, job. |
